This project involved a major overhaul of the original facilities on site, to bring the amenities up to modern standards for gender shared change facilities, as well as to allow for a much wider range of community users.
With the growth in sports involvement opportunities regardless of age and gender, as well as the growth in shared facilities requirements across a broader range of community groups and clubs, this is a major step towards satisfying changing community expectations.
Funded by community grants managed by the Corangamite Shire, this project has faced some challenges for commencement, however, there is a push to commence construction works in 2025.

New facility for the Birregurra Tennis Club alongside the newly developed and resurfaced courts. The facility includes social rooms for the tennis club, as well change facilities to be shared with the Birregurra Football Netball Club. The facility provides much needed upgrades to accommodate gender shared facilities as well as accessible toilets.
This project was funded via a combination of government grants and community fundraising, and is seen as a successful example of cost-efficient community facilities delivery.
